Terms of Use.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepts these Terms on your behalf.

We may update these Terms occasionally. If the changes are material we will show a notice in the App on your next launch and update the "Last Updated" date below. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Centsly is currently available on iPhone (iOS 16+). An Android release is on the roadmap but not committed to a date.

Centsly is a tracking tool. Nothing the App displays, charts, budget progress, projections, net-worth calculations, etc., constitutes financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. Always verify numbers independently before making decisions that depend on them.

When you're signed in, Centsly mirrors your data to Supabase so a different device (or the same device after reset) restores it on sign-in.

Sync runs automatically on sign-in, app launch with an active session, foreground transitions, and after each local write (debounced by ~500 ms).

A manual "Sync now" action is available in Settings.

Conflicts are resolved with a last-write-wins strategy based on server timestamps. Because each field of a row is typically edited on only one device at a time, observed conflicts are rare.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the sync service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Supabase may experience outages or scheduled maintenance. The App continues to work in offline mode regardless; queued writes will drain when service is restored.

You create a Centsly account by authenticating with one of:

We do not issue or store passwords. Authentication is performed by Apple or Google, and each session is represented by a Supabase-issued token managed securely on-device.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Each Centsly account is intended for personal use by a single individual. You may install and use the App on as many iOS devices as are registered to your Apple ID under Apple's Family Sharing / device-limit rules.

If you breach this Section, we may suspend or terminate your account without refund, preserve relevant records for investigation, and cooperate with law-enforcement where appropriate.

Transactions, merchant names, notes, budgets, account names, everything you enter into the App is yours. We do not claim ownership of your content.

To operate the Service we need a limited licence to store, copy, and transmit your content between the App on your device and Supabase. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for that specific purpose, for the duration that the content exists in the Service.

This licence terminates automatically when you delete the content or your account.

When available, Centsly Pro is offered in two plans:

All prices are shown in USD; your App Store will display the equivalent in your local currency. A 7-day free trial may be offered to new subscribers at Apple's discretion.

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. Oryzen does not receive, see, or store your credit card number, billing address, or any other payment credentials.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Your Apple ID will be charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.

If a free trial is offered and you accept it, the subscription begins immediately at $0 and will convert to a paid subscription at the regular rate at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Apple may limit eligibility for the free trial (e.g., one trial per Apple ID).

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or via https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions on the web.

Cancellation stops the next renewal; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current paid period. Apple does not generally prorate refunds for unused time.

All refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's standard policy. Contact Apple Support via https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

If you believe you were charged in error because of a Centsly-side issue (e.g., a broken Pro feature for an extended period), email hello@oryzen.com and we will help you pursue the refund with Apple.

Apple sends you a notification in advance of any subscription price increase. If you do not accept the new price, auto-renewal is cancelled and your subscription ends at the conclusion of the current paid period.

The Centsly name, logo, app design, source code, website, icons, fonts (where custom), and all related materials are the intellectual property of Oryzen. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not sell, redistribute, or create derivative works of the App. You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

Centsly includes open-source software licensed under its own licences. Those licences take precedence over these Terms for the components they cover.

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction and without compensation to you. Your feedback will never be identified as yours in any public communication without your consent.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your data from our servers, use Settings → Delete account. To stop syncing without deleting, use Sign out.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, or created a security risk for other users.

Where feasible we will give you notice and an opportunity to respond. Where suspension is necessary for security reasons, we may act immediately and notify you afterwards.

If we terminate your account for cause, we may retain records required to investigate or to comply with legal obligations.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections of these Terms that by their nature survive termination (disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, governing law) remain in force.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Oryzen and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any decisions you make based on it. Centsly is a tool, verification is on you.
